Dropship Series: D-77 Pelican
Willkommen zur Dropship-Serie auf Planet StarFreak! Ich plane in unregelmäßigen und wahrscheinlich
nicht allzu nah beieinander liegenden Intervallen neue Modelle dieser kleinen Serie herauszubringen.
Klein in der Tat, denn im Maßstab 1:430 passen eine ganze Reihe Flieger ins Regal :)
Zurückzuführen ist das ganze Projekt auf das Mini-Dropship aus Aliens, das Jan Rukr zu
seiner großen Sulaco herausgebracht hat. Da dachte ich mir, es wäre doch super, noch andere
Modelle in der Größe zu bauen - das dauert keine Wochen und sieht super aus. Gesagt, getan!
Hier nun also das erste Schiff in der Reihe: der bekannte Pelican, nur mit etwa 1/5 seiner
ursprünglichen Größe. Das bedeutet im Maßstab 1:430 eine Länge von nur 7,1cm :)
Welcome to the dropship series on Planet StarFreak! I plan to add new models to the small row
in irregular and probably not too frequent intervals. And small it is, since the scale is
1/430 :D
I got the idea from the small Aliens dropship Jan Rukr made for his Sulaco. After finishing
it, I thought it would be great to have more ships of that size - they don't take weeks to
finish and look great on the shelf. Plus, you don't need very much space for them ;)
So this is the first ship in the row: the well-known pelican from Halo, with a length of
7.1cm possibly one of the larger dropships as far as my knowledge goes :)

Das Mini-Modell greift dem Pelican MKII ein wenig voraus und hat bereits das angekündigte
Landegestell und neue Texturen! Sieht echt niedlich aus das kleine Ding :)
Und, man höre und staune, die PDF-Datei enthält eine detaillierte Bauanleitung!!
The mini-model is one step ahead of the Pelican MKII and already features a landing gear
and new textures. Looks really cute :D
And believe it or not, the PDF contains detailed building instructions! ;)
